This role requires you to commit up to 15 hours per week, with shifts primarily on weekday afternoons at sites such as Confederation Park. By focusing on child development and employing positive behavior techniques, you'll create impactful experiences for children from low-income backgrounds.
Key Responsibilities:
• Organize and lead stimulating child development activities
• Supervise groups ensuring children’s safety
• Implement positive behavior guidance methods
• Build positive relationships with children and families
• Maintain communication with parents regarding their children’s progress
Requirements:
• Minimum age of 16
• Current CPR/First Aid and High Five PHCD certifications
• Expected CLB Level 6+
• Eligibility to work in Canada
• Completion of background checks required
