Reporting to the Site Superintendent, the role includes coordinating mining and rehabilitation plans, assisting with special projects, and representing the site during government visits. The ideal candidate has an engineering background,
working knowledge of AutoCAD, and is comfortable working in outdoor environments.Job Responsibilities:Ensure compliance with health and safety legislation, policies, and procedures, including coordinating required training and supporting government inspectionsDevelop and manage production, maintenance, and mining schedules, while communicating progress to both management and hourly employeesManage the full lifecycle of third-party contractors, including assigning job requirements and locations, coordinating schedules and OH&S; protocols, tracking and approving time, and overseeing invoicing and complianceMonitor operating costs, forecast budgets, and report financial performance to ensure alignment with company targetsCoordinate production and inventory levels to meet sales goals and customer demandSupport site rehabilitation efforts in accordance with approved plans and assist the property department as neededContribute to special projects and company initiatives in collaboration with site leadershipApply analytical thinking and problem-solving skills to interpret data, manage time effectively, and take initiative in resolving challengesRequirements:Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Civil, Mining or Mechanical preferred)1–2 years of relevant industry experience preferredWorking knowledge of AutoCAD and proficiency in MS Office; familiarity with SAP and MS Project is an assetSolid understanding of the Occupational Health & Safety ActAbility to work in outdoor environments with exposure to varying weather conditionsCRH Canada Group Inc., does not directly use artificial intelligence to screen, assess or select applicants.
