As a Senior Project Manager – Utilities, you will guide complex projects from planning through execution, ensuring critical utility coordination is delivered efficiently, safely, and with lasting impact on the communities we serve.Your ImpactManage utility investigations, relocations, and protection strategies from concept through constructionCoordinate closely with utility owners and third‑party agencies (hydro, gas, telecom, municipalities) to align project deliveryIdentify and mitigate risks related to utility conflicts, ensuring minimal disruption to project scope, schedule, and costCollaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate utilities solutions into broader project designsReview utility designs and ensure alignment with client standards, codes, and regulatory requirementsDevelop strategies for utility relocations, including contract packaging and delivery approachesMentor junior team members and contribute to building strong internal capability in utilities managementThe Skills That Set You ApartUniversity degree or college diploma in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related disciplineMinimum 8 years of experience in utilities investigation, coordination,



or design on large infrastructure projectsProven experience managing utilities during the construction phase of projectsStrong knowledge of Ontario regulations, codes, and frameworks for utilities and civil infrastructureExperience working with agencies such as MTO, Metrolinx, TTC, and municipal stakeholdersDemonstrated ability to interpret and review complex design drawings across disciplinesExperience developing Utility Conflict Plans, matrices, and relocation strategiesStrong stakeholder management, negotiation, and communication skills within complex project environmentsCompensationAB, BC, NT, NU, SK & YT: $104,100 – $138,000MB & ON: $95,000 – $130,800NB, NL, NS, PE & QC: $94,100 – $124,900The final salary awarded for this role may vary from the above range based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, and business or organizational needs.
