Job Description As an S&C; Electric Canada team member, you’ll work on tasks and projects that have real‑world impact. You’ll help transform the grid for resilient and reliable power worldwide. Position Details Work arrangement: Onsite Compensation: Estimated annual base salary range $79,980 – $105,978. Individual pay within this range is determined by factors such as performance, knowledge, job‑related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. The position may also be eligible for S&C;’s annual incentive plan (AIP) with a target bonus of 5% of annual base earnings. Key Responsibilities Lead quality improvement projects including root cause analysis, corrective action implementation, and results monitoring. Liaise with operational and business stakeholders, providing guidance and assistance in support of continuous improvement initiatives. Identify relevant best practices and support their implementation. Maintain existing quality practices through audits and inspections of key processes and components/products. Support other Quality and Operations Excellence related activities as required. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Industrial Engineering, or a related field. 3‑4 years of experience in a similar role. Detail‑oriented with excellent problem‑solving and data analysis skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to foster strong relationships. Experience with Lean, Six Sigma, and similar tools and techniques.
Understanding of core operational and business processes is an asset. Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Teams, Excel, PowerPoint). Physical Effort & Work Environment Normal or frequent minor physical effort required for day‑to‑day activity. May involve standing, sitting, walking, climbing stairs, and lifting/moving objects or equipment up to 20 lbs. Acceptable working environment with minor or almost no disagreeable or challenging working conditions as part of everyday expected levels.
