Support youth as an Out of School Care Leader I with the Cowichan Valley Regional District. This casual role is based at the Shawnigan Lake Community Centre and focuses on program implementation.
As Out of School Care Leader I, you will report to the Child Care Coordinator while developing the Out of School Care initiative. Your role includes adhering to the licensing policies and helping create a secure environment for children. This is an excellent opportunity to foster child development and well-being.
Key Responsibilities:
• Implement the Out of School Care program with adherence to guidelines
• Work alongside the Child Care Coordinator on initiatives
• Ensure safety and well-being of all participating children




• Facilitate communication with parents and guardians
• Conduct activities that promote health and nutrition
Requirements:
• Secondary School Graduation minimum
• Completion of a relevant 20-hour coursework
• Preference for candidates in Early Childhood Education
• Approved First Aid Certification is essential
• Must be 19 years of age or older
