The Mobile Facilities Technician will play a key role in maintaining the operational integrity and safety of designated locations, supporting the customer service experience across multiple BC Hydro and Black & McDonald sites between Mackenzie to Fort St John and Fort Nelson. This position is responsible for attending service calls, conducting building inspections, initiating corrective work orders, performing light preventive maintenance (PMs), and coordinating with external service providers (Suppliers). The technician acts as a liaison between Black & McDonald and BC Hydro District Office Managers, ensuring timely and effective resolution of facilities-related issues using the computerized maintenance management system (CMMS).RequiredA service ambassador for Black & McDonald working in partnership with BC Hydro Properties Management divisionBuild and maintain customer and supplier/vendor relationshipsIn conjunction with the Facility Manager and the team, plan and execute planned and corrective maintenance tasksOrganize and plan work to meet schedules and co-ordinate work activities with other suppliersOversee site maintenance and repair activities of Suppliers and VendorsComplete periodic site maintenance, and identify repairs needed and initiate corrective Work Orders for the repair activitiesPerform operational inspections, safety inspections, site condition inspectionsRespond to work orders, ensuring the correct assets are tagged in work completed.Perform light duties such as building inspections, garbage removal, snow removal, heating venting air condition, Plumbing, and other Mechanical duties, assisting the supplier’s technician’s, mechanics, etc.Support site visitations where required to meet suppliers who are asked to quote on workAssist in Regional Planning and coordination of seasonal activities,
