This role works in close partnership with engineering, architecture, application, operations, and cybersecurity teams to deliver secure, scalable, and resilient infrastructure solutions.Infrastructure Strategy & DesignPlan, design, and implement migration initiatives across on‑premises, hybrid, and Azure cloud environments.Architect scalable, resilient, and secure infrastructure solutions aligned with McKesson enterprise standards.Evaluate legacy infrastructure and define modernization and migration strategies that support business objectives.Migration Execution & DeliveryDeliver migration plans that achieve documented performance improvements, availability enhancements, or cost savings.Lead the planning and execution of large‑scale server and data center migrations to Azure Local and hybrid cloud environments, ensuring stability, performance, and minimal operational disruption.Partner with application teams to align infrastructure migrations with application architecture and deployment processes.Automation, Governance & Operational ExcellenceLeverage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools with Terraform or Ansible to deliver scalable, repeatable,



and governance‑aligned compute environments that support enterprise reliability and compliance.Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date system documentation across on‑premises, hybrid, and cloud platforms, including the creation, maintenance, and retirement (purging) of CMDB records.Utilize and adhere to the McKesson Change Management process to plan, review, and implement changes within production and disaster recovery environments.Operational Readiness & Cross‑Team CollaborationEnsure infrastructure solutions comply with McKesson cybersecurity, compliance, and operational policies.Collaborate with compute, network, storage, operations, and cybersecurity teams to ensure end‑to‑end solution integrity and operational readiness.Act as a post‑migration escalation point for complex infrastructure issues, providing root cause analysis and remediation, while serving as a trusted technical advisor.General ResponsibilitiesSeek to provide candid and timely feedback to improve performance; openly share information; foster teamwork and innovation.Ensure that requirements to internal and external customers are met in a timely and cost‑effective manner.Build internal and external relationships with key suppliers, customers, and internal service providers.Respect and adhere to McKesson Standards, Policies, and Procedures.Position Requirements8+ years of hands‑on experience in enterprise infrastructure or systems engineering roles supporting large‑scale, business‑critical environments and a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related discipline (or equivalent experience).Expertise in enterprise operating systems, Microsoft Azure, VMware, and enterprise storage platforms; strong experiencedesigning, building, operating,
