Production ManagerSliced FC is a Fresh Cut Processor with two state of the art facilities located in Western Canada. We provide a wide assortment of fruit and vegetable products utilizing produce sourced from certified growers around the world! By being flexible, innovative, and having the ability to deliver within hours to surrounding areas, the Sliced FC team is able to provide long lasting fresh-cut produce.Mission : Deliver affordable, healthy, and innovative fresh products with uncompromising standards in food safety and quality.ResponsibilitiesLead the efficient and effective production of fresh cut fruits and vegetables.Support production staff to ensure proper production flow.Accountable for ensuring labor and yield targets are met.Accountable for all production planning and scheduling.Strong understanding of supply chain management, logistics, and distribution, with the ability to streamline operations and minimize costs without compromising quality.Expertise in operational efficiency and process improvement, with a focus on enhancing productivity, reducing waste, and implementing innovative solutions.Coordinate, allocate, and reconcile orders; communicate inventory levels and needs according to the daily production schedule.Liaise with staff and managers in the Inventory, Production, QA, and Sales departments within Sliced FC and other Star Produce Ltd. divisions.Strong communication with production staff and procurement staff.Enforce corporate policies regarding security and safety in order to maintain a safe working environment.Ensure that safe work practices are being followed.Supervise a team of warehouse employees, including hiring,
