Duties include supervising the Front End Team, maintaining accurate cash management and verification of tills, and aiding other departments as needed.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesProvide excellent customer service, address the needs of customers, and answer their questions in a timely and effective manner, giving them immediate and undivided attention.Answer phones and intercom pages promptly and courteously.Supervise, delegate tasks, and develop the Front End Team and custodian staff in the absence of store management.Assist checkers with proper loan/pull procedures to maintain accurate cash flow between the safe and all register tills.Field customer comments and complaints, resolving issues promptly.Support store management with all departmental functions as needed.Perform duties and responsibilities of Front End Checker as required.Assist the Customer Service Manager in regulating customer flow to reduce waiting time.Coordinate breaks and lunches of the Front End Team while maintaining sufficient department flow.Verify the currency of every checker’s till at the end of their shift.Maintain a clean and well‑stocked Front End Department, shelves, and supply area for back stock.Create and sustain professional working relationships with management, coworkers, and customers.Provide and maintain a professional work environment that supports growth and development of the department.Follow and comply with established procedures, including Weights and Measures, health and sanitation, and protected work practices.Immediately report safety hazards and violations to supervisors.Perform opening, mid,
