You will work closely with our development team to ensure a seamless and effective software delivery pipeline.Key Responsibilities:Design and implement automated deployment processes using AWS ConnectMonitor and maintain the infrastructure and tools used for software development and deploymentTroubleshoot and resolve any issues related to the deployment processCollaborate with the development team to ensure smooth integration of new features and updatesImplement and maintain security protocols and best practices for our infrastructureContinuously improve and optimize the software delivery pipelineStay up-to-date with the latest DevOps tools and technologies and make recommendations for implementationCreate and maintain technical documentation for the deployment process and infrastructureParticipate in on-call rotation for after-hours support and issue resolutionQualifications:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related fieldMinimum of 3 years of experience as a DevOps EngineerStrong understanding of AWS Connect and other AWS servicesExperience with automation and configuration management tools such as Ansible, Chef, or PuppetProficient in scripting languages such as Bash, Python, or RubyExperience with containerization and orchestration tools such as Docker and KubernetesKnowledge of networking and security protocolsExperience with monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, ELK stack, or SplunkStrong problem-solving and troubleshooting skillsExcellent communication and collaboration skillsAbility to work independently and in a team environmentAWS certifications are a plusThis is a contractor position based in Etobicoke, ON. The contract duration is for 6 months with the possibility of extension. The candidate will be required to work 40 hours per week with a competitive hourly rate.
