Wild Ridge Landscapes is looking for a part-time Winter Equipment Operator to assist with snow and ice management in Ottawa. Contribute to efficient operations while ensuring safety standards are met.
This fixed-term role runs from November 2025 to April 2026 at Wild Ridge Landscapes. Operators will be responsible for maintaining snow routes and using equipment like plow trucks and salt trucks. You will help uphold quality service for varied clients during winter months.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage snow and ice operations safely and effectively
• Operate various winter equipment as assigned
• Complete all documentation and timesheets accurately
• Conduct required maintenance on equipment
• Remain flexible to work in changing weather conditions
Requirements:
• Adaptable schedule for on-call work
• Must be able to lift heavy loads up to 50 lbs.
• Experience with fuel and equipment maintenance
• Knowledge of safety standards in snow operations
• Willing to work irregular hours outdoors
