Agilus by Synergie is seeking a Laboratory Technician for the Fort Hills oil and gas project in Calgary, Alberta. This position prioritizes the accurate testing and maintenance of laboratory standards.
As a key member of the laboratory team, you will report to the Laboratory Supervisor and manage analysis tasks that meet established protocols. Your responsibilities include equipment calibration, sample organization, and data entry into the LIMS system. Your analytical skills will ensure timely and precise laboratory results for clients.
Key Responsibilities:
• Complete all tasks with safety and environmental responsibility
• Manage sample intake and logging via LIMS
• Ensure accurate and reliable analysis for customers




• Perform maintenance and verification on lab equipment
• Engage in safety programs and inspections
Requirements:
• Relevant two-year diploma or a B.Sc. in Chemistry
• At least 2 years in quality control laboratories
• Knowledge of relevant analysis standards like ASTM
• Experience in a LIMS environment is advantageous
• Robust troubleshooting and analytical skills
