Who We Are Looking ForWe are seeking a highly motivated QA Engineer who takes end‑to‑end ownership of quality—from early requirement validation through testing, defect resolution, and final delivery. This role goes beyond executing test cases; you will play a key role in enhancing overall product quality, expanding test coverage, leading testing efforts for cross‑team initiatives, and driving automation initiatives to improve long‑term efficiency. In this position, you will collaborate closely with Product to understand and define end‑to‑end client workflows, ensuring comprehensive validation for complex Wealth workflows that span multiple systems and integrations with a focus on strengthening automation coverage. The ideal candidate is analytical, curious, and committed to continuous learning. You are comfortable navigating ambiguity, proactively identifying defects and risks, and clearly communicating findings with confidence. You take initiative, think beyond obvious paths, and bring a strong sense of ownership—not only in validating functionality, but also in maintaining and optimizing automated test environments to ensure stability and reliability. You are equally effective at demonstrating completed functionality and articulating quality outcomes to stakeholders.What You Will Be Responsible ForCollaborate closely with the Scrum Master, Product Owner, Architects, Business Analysts, Developers, and cross‑functional team members to deliver high‑quality softwareCreate and maintain clear, comprehensive test plans in Xray for each sprintDrive adoption of modern QA practices including AI‑assisted testingOversee defect management processes, ensuring timely triage, root‑cause analysis, and resolution along with logging, tracking, and triaging defects with well‑documented, reproducible stepsExpand and enhance automated test coverage to improve efficiency and scalabilityMaintain, monitor,
and troubleshoot automated test failuresExecute functional, regression, integration, and performance testingValidate acceptance criteria during grooming sessions to ensure testability and clarityProactively identify gaps, edge cases, and potential risks early in the development lifecyclePresent and demo completed QA stories during team and department demos, effectively highlighting functionality and test coverageConfigure and manage automated test environments using tools such as Jenkins or TeamCityEnsure Jira stories and defects meet the Definition of Done (DoD) criteriaActively participate in agile ceremonies, including grooming, sprint planning, daily stand‑ups, and retrospectivesCoordinate cross‑team “swarm” testing efforts for end‑to‑end validation, including setting up test environments and developing comprehensive master test plans to ensure complete coverage across systems and workflowsQualificationsMasters degree in computer science or equivalentExperience5+ years of experienceExposure to financial services and/or investment management domainsStrong understanding of QA methodologies, including functional, regression, and integration testingExperience working in Agile/Scrum environmentsProven experience with test automation (UI and/or API)Proficiency in SQL for data validation and analysisAbility to translate business requirements into detailed functional and technical test plansExperience in using CI/CD pipelines and tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOpsExperience with version control systems (e.G., Git)

The range quoted above applies to the role in the primary location specified.
