Pay range: $17.60 – $18.00 per hour.

What You’ll Be Doing

- Assisting with instruction in the classroom.
- Maintaining an workplace that protects the well‑being of children.
- Interacting with children to encourage their engagement in activities.
- Establishing collaborative relationships with co‑workers, management, and families.
- Attending staff meetings and professional development opportunities as necessary.
- Working to maintain cleanliness and organization of classroom materials.
- Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

- High School Diploma or equivalent; Early Childhood Assistant Certification or Registered Early Childhood Educator.
- Must meet provincial childcare employment requirements.
- Current Standard First Aid and Infant CPR certification.
- Current immunization and health assessment as required by the local Minister of Health.
- Experience in planning and implementing programs.
