Description
As an Account Manager – Aviation and Aerospace, you will support all aspects of placement and ongoing service for assigned WTW Aviation clients, including complex and large multinational accounts. This role is highly execution-focused and requires strong client management, project coordination, and stakeholder engagement skills in a fast-paced environment with significant administrative and coordination responsibilities.
The Role
Main responsibilities:
- As an Account Manager - Aviation & Space, you will assist withall aspects of the placement and service for WTW Aviation Clients
- Assist with risk management analysis utilizing new business, renewal and claim reviews
- Update and enhance policy contracts
- Assist with all phases of new business, renewal and remarket processing including preparation of applications, obtaining quotes and creating proposals
- Consistently prepare and submits policy change requests to carriers
- Monitors status of change requests and reviews policy documents for accuracy
- Assist with resolving client, carrier and/or vendor accounting issues, including coverage questions, collections, discrepancies, fee arrangements, billing controversies
- Assist invoicing policy premiums
- Ensure compliance with all WTW and regulatory procedures such as WEM (Willis Towers Watson Excellence Model)
- Produce and regularly update bespoke policy wordings and endorsements
- Contribute to the growth of the practice, office and firm
- Support all of the Company's values and main objectives that may change from time to time
- Ability to provide prompt and clear customer service in a high-volume, client-focused setting via both e-mail and telephone
Qualifications
The Requirements
- 3+ years of insurance industry experience, either at a brokerage or underwriter
- Aviation knowledge is an asset, but not required
- Hold a minimum of a Diploma of College Studies (DEC) and/or an equivalent combination of certificate programs.
- Possession of insurance industry designations is considered an asset, such as PAA, CRM (Canadian Risk Management), or similar credentials.
- Ability to work with various software products necessary to perform job satisfactorily including
- Proficiency with Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
- Must be able to maintain confidentiality of material at all times
- Excellent Communication Skills
- Ability to read, understand, and process tasks by written and oral instructions
- Independently carry out assignments
- Ability to work well with others and provide assistance cooperatively and courteously
- Proficiency in English and French, both written and oral
- Insurance Brokerage License required within 90 days of joining
Compensation
The base salary compensation range being offered for this role is $65,000 - $90,000 CAD per year.
This role is also eligible for an annual short-term incentive bonus.
