This relief role is available until May 2027 or until the return of the incumbent.Community pharmacy experience or interest, working with marginalized Mental Health & Substance Use populations is required.This position is for our Downtown Eastside group of pharmacies – Crosstown Clinic, Downtown Community Health Centre and Hope to Health Centre.A career that offers you the opportunity to work in a fast growing and exciting organization with professionals who are eminent in their respective fields.Competitive salary package, including comprehensive health perks coverage.Detailed OverviewUnder the general supervision of the Coordinator, Pharmacy Services or designate, assists with medication dispensing by measuring, non‑sterile compounding, packaging, and distributing medications. Maintains stock levels, and performs clerical duties as assigned.ResponsibilitiesReceive, sort, count, measure,
and fill both patient‑specific and non‑patient‑specific medication containers. Assist in the distribution of patient‑specific and non‑patient‑specific medications to patient care units as directed and maintain appropriate records.Compound non‑sterile pharmaceutical products according to established protocols.Repackage medications into unit‑of‑use format. Maintain repackaging and compounding records.Maintain appropriate quantities of wardstock medications (manual or automated dispensing cabinet system). Validate the accuracy of wardstock medications selected by other pharmacy staff in accordance with established policies and procedures. Maintain records of medication selection accuracy and the results of quality assurance reviews.Maintain pharmacy department inventory and wardstock quantities for non‑controlled and controlled medications. Distribute and maintain relevant inventory, transfer, and wardstock delivery records.Identify outdated drugs to be returned or destroyed by reviewing stock for lot expiry dates.Maintain department work areas by ensuring tidiness and order. Stock pharmaceuticals, labels, containers and glassware in accordance with established procedures and standards.Perform related clerical duties such as answering telephone,
