Our firm is built on strong client relationships, high-quality work, continuous improvement, and a modern, team-first culture.The OpportunityThis is a key leadership role for a CPA manager with strong confidence in reviewing assurance and compilation files, leading and coaching team members, improving file quality, and supporting CPA Ontario Practice Inspection readiness.You will work closely with the CPA owner/founder of the firm. This is an important role in ensuring files are technically robust, consistent, and review ready.Key ResponsibilitiesManage a portfolio of corporate and personal clients and lead engagements from start to finishMaintain strong client relationships and handle inquiries professionally and efficientlyEnsure client files are organized, accurate, and delivered on time Assurance / Working Paper ReviewProvide manager-level review of engagements including Compilation/NTR, Review,



and Audit files (ASPE & IFRS)Perform final technical review of working paper files to ensure completeness and consistency before final sign-offIdentify deficiencies and drive timely corrective action to reduce reworkTeam Leadership & CoachingSupervise, mentor, and support team members and intermediate accountantsProvide guidance on working papers, documentation standards, deadlines, and engagement planningPromote accountability, training, and a high-performing team cultureAssist with CPA Ontario Practice Inspection readiness, including file readiness reviews/internal pre-inspectionsSupport documentation strengthening across assurance and compilation engagementsAssist with implementing quality improvements and remediation plansTax & Compliance OversightReview and support preparation of T2 corporate tax returnsAssist with T1 / Trust returns as neededEnsure tax work is well-documented and meets internal standardsQualificationsCPA designation required in Ontario (having a USA CPA as well is an asset but not required)5+ years’ experience in a Canadian public accounting firm (firm with assurance)Strong technical knowledge of assurance and compilation documentation standards and working paper file preparation/review proceduresStrong leadership and communication skillsHighly organized, reliable, detail-oriented,
