This position will provide project support to our offices across Ontario, Current Brunswick, Nova Scotia and Newfoundland.DutiesAssist Senior Engineers and Design Leads in preparing design reports, Process and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs), PLC panel layouts, HMI panels, loop diagrams, and instrument installation details for major water/wastewater projects and industrial projectsDevelop Process Control Narratives including coordination with a multi‑discipline team of EngineersAssist Senior Engineers and Design Leads in developing SCADA network architectures including Fiber Optic, Ethernet and Radio based communication networksDesign control circuit wiring diagrams / control schematics for various types of starters and process equipmentGenerate project specifications including PLC panel components, instruments, and Process Control NarrativesPerform Contract Administration including shop drawing review, witnessing of equipment and systems factory acceptance testing (FAT), site acceptance testing (SAT), commissioning,
and troubleshootingPerform Site Inspections including data gathering and condition assessmentsOther duties as assignedQualificationsBachelor’s Degree in Electrical, Chemical or Mechanical Engineering (graduation by May 2026)Knowledge of Water and Wastewater treatment control systems including Process and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs), PLC panel layouts, loop diagrams, SCADA network architecture, instrument installation details, and Process Control Narratives is an assetDemonstrates superior English communication skills both oral and written; knowledge of PLC, SCADAsystems and Communications Protocols (Profibus, Ethernet/IP, Modbus, Profinet, etc.) is an assetAutoCAD and REVIT experience is an assetProficient with Microsoft Office SuiteAbility to work in an interdisciplinary team with operators, programmers, process, mechanical and electrical EngineersStrong interpersonal skills and the ability to develop positive relationships with staff, project team members and clientsValid driver’s license is required and ability to independently travel to project sites for site inspections, meetings and business development activitiesYour better starts hereWe don’t settle for less, and neither should you.
