The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in data management within capital markets and experience driving high‑impact data initiatives that directly influence business outcomes.Key ResponsibilitiesLead & Manage Data ProjectsLead and manage data‑related projects, ensuring alignment with business objectives and timely delivery.Oversee implementation of data control processes and data governance practices for big data lake projects.Data Control & GovernanceImplement and enforce data control frameworks to ensure consistency, integrity, and accuracy across the data lifecycle.Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements related to data accuracy and reporting within the capital markets domain.Business & Technical LiaisonServe as the primary point of contact between business stakeholders and technical teams.Gather and define business requirements, translate them into technical specifications, and ensure final solutions meet business needs.Data Accuracy & Quality ManagementDevelop and implement strategies to maintain high data quality standards, including data accuracy, completeness, and consistency.Timelines & Project ManagementDefine, manage, and track data project timelines.Work closely with project managers to ensure milestones are met and deliverables are completed on time, within scope, and within budget.Stakeholder ManagementEngage with internal and external stakeholders, including business units, data scientists, data engineers,
and senior management.Ensure alignment on business needs and data requirements.Data Reporting & AnalysisProvide detailed reports on data quality metrics, project status, and any risks or issues.Analyze data trends, performance, and project outcomes to derive actionable insights.Documentation & Best PracticesDevelop and maintain comprehensive documentation on business requirements, data control processes, data governance, and project deliverables.Establish and enforce best practices for data management within the organization.Continuous ImprovementIdentify opportunities to improve data processes, governance, and quality standards.Suggest enhancements to data architectures and workflows to optimize performance and efficiency.Required Skills & QualificationsExperience8+ years as a Business Analyst with at least 3 years focused on data‑driven projects in the Capital Markets domain (e.G., trading systems, portfolio management, risk management, derivatives, equities).Data Management ExpertiseStrong experience implementing data control frameworks, governance policies, and managing data accuracy within large data environments such as data lakes and big data projects.Project Management & TimelinesProven ability to manage data projects,
working with cross‑functional teams to ensure timely delivery of key milestones and meeting business requirements.Business & Technical CommunicationExcellent ability to communicate complex technical concepts to business stakeholders and translate business needs into actionable technical requirements.Data Quality & AccuracyProven ability to define and enforce data quality standards, including methods for identifying and correcting data issues to ensure accuracy and completeness.Tools & TechnologiesFamiliarity with data management tools, big data platforms (Hadoop, Spark, Hive), and reporting tools (Tableau, Power BI).
