OverviewCD PROJEKT RED is looking for a Senior Gameplay Engineer - Combat to join our team to work on Project Sirius - an original video game combining beloved aspects of The Witcher world with immersive multiplayer gameplay.In this role you will collaborate with our team working in Unreal Engine 5 to build new mechanics and features to generate compelling gameplay. You’ll be in charge of defining, building, and maintaining the core system of character ability management.ResponsibilitiesWork closely with designers and animators to fulfill the vision of the gameBuild and maintain solid and flexible gameplay systems that work in both singleplayer and multiplayerWrite high-quality code that is optimized, bug-free, and aligned with project goalsQualificationsAt least 10 years of professional experience as a programmer within the games industryProficiency in C++ programming and knowledge of Unreal EngineAbility to think creatively and strategically to overcome technical challenges and drive innovation in technologyExtensive multiplayer experienceKnowledge of game engine architecture and algorithmsThorough multi-threaded programming skillsExcellent communication skills: We have a multilingual and multicultural working environment and the ability to communicate across language and time zone barriers is essentialNice to have:
