As a Trades-Journeyman Painter under the guidance of the Foreman, you will utilize your expertise in painting and maintenance to improve various district facilities. Your role includes evaluating job sites, troubleshooting painting issues, and collaborating with other trades. You'll contribute to the growth and success of 21,000 students by ensuring the quality and safety of all painting projects.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform interior and exterior painting and preparation
• Troubleshoot and resolve painting-related problems




• Respond to service calls for painting tasks
• Provide training to other trades on painting jobs
• Maintain written work records and reports
Requirements:
• Grade 12 diploma or equivalent
• Valid British Columbia Trades Qualification in Painting
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience
• Valid Class 5 BC Driver’s License
• Knowledge of WHMIS and WorkSafe BC regulations
