As an integral member of the outreach team, you will work in collaboration with various community partners, serving the vulnerable population in the Beltline area. Your role will include providing empathetic support, transportation, and advocacy for clients in need. Strong case management, interpersonal skills, and the ability to navigate challenging situations are essential to succeed in this position.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide respectful, empathetic support to clients
• Conduct sweeps and engage with individuals in encampments
• Drive agency vehicles to transport clients safely
• Respond to crisis situations and provide in office assistance
• Collaborate with partner agencies and maintain qualified conduct
Requirements:
• 2-year diploma or degree in Social Sciences or related field
• Knowledge of addictions and trauma-informed care
• Solid crisis management and advocacy skills
• Valid Class 5 driver's license and clear driving abstract
• Experience with outreach for vulnerable populations
