The RoleWe are looking for a skilled, autonomous Service Technician who can take a service van and handle complex residential and light commercial calls from day one. You will be responsible for diagnosing systems, executing clean repairs, and delivering great customer service.Key ResponsibilitiesIndependently manage a daily service route using our smartphone-based field app.Diagnose complex electrical and mechanical issues (valves, wiring faults, controllers, and smart tech).Perform top‑tier spring startups, comprehensive system audits, and high‑volume autumn/winterizations/blowouts efficiently.Perform modifications, additions, and upgrades to existing residential systems.Communicate clearly with residential clients regarding system diagnoses, repair options,
and water‑efficiency recommendations.What You Bring (Requirements)Proven Experience:Minimum 2–5 years of dedicated experience in residential or commercial irrigation troubleshooting and service.Technical Knowledge:Strong understanding of low‑voltage wiring, valve locating, pipe repair, and programming modern smart controllers.Valid License:Class 5 Driver’s License with a clean driving abstract (required to operate company service vehicles).Tech‑Savvy:Comfortable navigating smartphone routing and invoicing software on the go.Reliability:A solid work ethic, physical fitness to handle outdoor conditions, and the ability to solve problems on‑site without constant supervision.Additional Certifications:WHMIS Certification (preferred) and First Aid Certification (preferred).BenefitsOn‑site parkingLocation & CommuteCalgary, AB: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)CompensationPay: $20.00-$40.00 per hour#J-18808-Ljbffr
