Subway Store ManagerStore: 3005236 | Location: Marmora, ON | Type of employment: Permanent, Full Time (40 hours) | Salary: $38,500 - $42,500 CAD per year.Role OverviewWe are currently hiring for a Store Manager to join our team in Marmora, Ontario. This position has management responsibility for the day‑to‑day operation of a store such as hiring, training knowledgeable associates, inventory management, store compliance, and executing strategic merchandising initiatives.This position reports directly to the District Manager for guidance on operating procedures, brand product merchandising, compliance, and food safety requirements.Key ResponsibilitiesLeadership and ManagementSupervise activities of 2 or more full‑time employees (Assistant Managers, Lead Representatives, Customer Service Representatives).Recruit, hire and train positive, enthusiastic employees to ensure excellent customer service.Develop, manage and assign tasks to keep the store clean, adequately stocked, organized, and well‑kept based on company standards.Maintain a professional and supportive image among subordinates and supervisors.Schedule employees within company guidelines to maximize customer service and maintain store image.Apply non‑discriminatory management skills while hiring, training, counseling, mentoring, motivating, and removing employees.Store RelationshipsDevelop positive and professional relationships with all suppliers.Promote excellent service and resolve customer complaints in a timely, qualified manner.Provide regular and predictable onsite attendance.Promote and maintain a safe, positive public image within the neighboring community.Training and DevelopmentPrepare ongoing and timely performance appraisals in Workday for all employees, including 30‑ and 60‑day check‑ins, 90‑day, 12‑month and ongoing anniversary check‑ins.Train employees on customer service, store image, marketing execution,



safety procedures, cash awareness, and communication.Hold periodic communication meetings with all store employees and the District Manager.Organizing and PlanningEvaluate and develop specific action plans to address store needs and reach desired objectives.Organize and maintain all store files and manuals.Supervise employees to ensure all required reports are completed accurately and timely.Ensure merchandise is stocked, attractively displayed, and priced correctly.Ensure all required employment portions, posters and signs are in an accessible location.Analyze daily sales and expense information and take appropriate action to maximize sales and net profits.Budget and forecast P&L; lines, and manage merchandise margins.Safeguard money received and disbursed, performing necessary financial analysis.Notify the District Manager of any sales, cash, inventory or operational discrepancies.What You’ll NeedEducationHigh school diploma or equivalent plus 1 to 2 years of retail work experience or an equivalent combination of education, training and work experience (preferred).ExperienceAs above.Knowledge and SkillsAbility to supervise and train for use of equipment, tools and materials listed in the CSR, LSR and SA job descriptions.Ability to supervise and manage functions listed in the CSR, LSR and SA job descriptions.Ability to use or acquire computer skills necessary for store functions (reports, inventory control, cash control, employment forms,
