The salary offered depends on several factors such as relevant skills, qualifications and experience.SummaryThis growth‑focused position is ideal for someone who is strategic, self‑driven, and energized by expanding business into new markets. You will play a pivotal role in developing new advisor relationships, particularly with those not yet partnering with Beneva. You’ll be confident approaching new prospects, opening doors, and representing Beneva with professionalism and credibility. In addition to building strong trust‑based relationships that drive new business, you will proactively identify and engage advisors to broaden Beneva’s market presence; enhance and support existing partnerships, as well as oversee the implementation of new group insurance plans and facilitate renewals.Key ResponsibilitiesBuild, strengthen, and maintain strong relationships with brokers, consultants, TPAs, and group administrators that drives new businessPromote Beneva’s group insurance solutions and clearly communicate our value to intermediaries and employer groupsDevelop deep knowledge of Beneva’s group insurance offerings, financial arrangements, and administrative proceduresEvaluate and select proposal requests, analyze specifications,
and prepare rating requests for ActuarialPresent and sell new business proposals and renewal recommendations to intermediaries and clientsSupport the implementation and onboarding of new groupsMonitor and assess existing plans, recommending improvements that address evolving client needsAnalyze renewal proposals, justify recommendations, and ensure alignment with client expectationsConduct proactive outreach to maintain strong ongoing relationships and identify growth opportunitiesRepresent Beneva at industry events, conferences, and training sessions; prepare post‑event reportsMaintain accurate weekly activity reports and contribute to departmental reporting as requiredStay informed on industry trends, competitor offerings, and market changes to support continuous improvementSupport and participate in training activities for group administrators and intermediaries.Serve as a knowledgeable and dependable representative of Beneva in the regionPerform related tasks as assigned by leadership.What We’re Looking ForBachelor’s degree in administration, marketing, or a related field.Minimum5 years of group insurance sales experience .Strong knowledge of the life and health insurance brokerage landscape.Market intermediary license (if applicable).Strong verbal and written communication skills; French is an asset.Proven sales and business development ability, including comfort with numerical analysis.Ability to travel within the assigned territory.Equal Employment OpportunityBeneva is an equal opportunity employer, so we encourage all Women, persons with disabilities, Indigenous people as well as visible and ethnic minorities to apply.PurposeTrue to its purpose, Beneva places people at the heart of its actions and contributes to the well‑being of the community.
