Adecco, in partnership with our client, a reputable organization, is currently hiring a full-time Assistant Manager, Fixed Assets & Maintenance to support daily operations in Regina, SK.This leadership role is responsible for overseeing maintenance operations, supervising technical teams, and ensuring the efficient management of facility assets. You will play a key role in maintaining operational excellence, supporting events and facility usage, and driving continuous improvement across maintenance programs.Pay Rate:$85,000/yearLocation:Regina, SKShift:Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PMJob type:Permanent | Full-timeResponsibilitiesLeadership & OperationsSupervise, direct, and support skilled trades and maintenance staffAssist with recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and team developmentFoster a positive team environment and monitor employee engagementEnsure adherence to company policies, procedures, and safety standardsMaintenance & Facility ManagementOversee installation, maintenance, and repair of facilities, equipment, and building systemsEnsure operational reliability of mechanical, electrical, HVAC, and ammonia plant systemsMaintain and monitor asset performance and preventative maintenance programsTrack and manage work orders, ensuring timely completionConduct routine inspections and assess equipment condition with recommendationsPlanning & CoordinationCollaborate with internal departments to schedule maintenance activitiesManage inventory of parts, tools,
and equipmentAssist in contractor coordination and project oversightSupport environmental and sustainability initiativesFinancial OversightAssist in developing and managing departmental budgets (capital and operational)Monitor expenditures and ensure cost controls are in placeReview financial reports and track performance against budgetCreate purchase orders and approve invoices with accurate codingSafety & ComplianceEnsure compliance with Occupational Health & Safety regulationsSupport development and execution of workplace safety plansMaintain up-to-date safety training for all team membersParticipate in a 24/7 on-call rotation for escalation supportQualifications and SkillsTechnical degree or certification (e.G., Building Systems Technician, or Journeyperson in electrical, millwright, carpentry, plumbing, or power engineering)Minimum 5 years of experience in:Industrial maintenanceBuilding operationsCommercial constructionMinimum 2 years of leadership or supervisory experienceExperience working in fast-paced, complex environmentsExperience in a unionized setting is considered an assetStrong knowledge of building maintenance systems, HVAC, electrical, and refrigeration systemsUnderstanding of construction laws, building codes, and industry standardsAbility to read and interpret mechanical, electrical, and architectural drawingsStrong leadership, interpersonal, and team development skillsExcellent analytical and financial management capabilitiesProven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlinesProficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)Must be able to obtain and maintain a satisfactory Criminal Record CheckMust be legally eligible to work, and reside in CanadaWe encourage applications from individuals of all backgrounds and identities.#J-18808-Ljbffr
