The New Vista Society is seeking a temporary part time Licensed Practical Nurse in Burnaby, BC. This role focuses on resident safety, personal care, and nursing procedures in collaboration with the Care Team.

In this position, you will work under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, assessing and evaluating nursing care while adhering to the College of LPNs of BC guidelines. Your responsibilities will include administering medication, monitoring resident outcomes, and providing personal assistance to ensure a supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with the Care Team for resident assessments
• Perform nursing procedures including blood pressure monitoring
• Evaluate outcomes and document necessary changes




• Assist residents with personal care and daily living activities
• Maintain a safe environment and respond to incidents

Requirements:
• Valid BC Practical Nurse license in positive standing
• Minimum 2 years experience with older adults
• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written
• Physical ability to perform job tasks
• Organizational skills for work management
