Support mental health in children and families as a Full time Counsellor with FIREFLY in Northwestern Ontario. Engage in individual, family, and group counselling services across wide-ranging settings.
As a Counsellor, you will impact children and families’ mental well-being while working closely with a multidisciplinary team. Your role includes completing assessments, developing tailored intervention plans, and implementing therapeutic strategies. You will also deliver services in office, schools, and virtually, maintaining accurate clinical documentation as required.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide individual, family, and group counselling services
• Conduct clinical assessments and develop intervention plans
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members
• Deliver services in various settings including virtually
• Maintain clinical documentation in accordance with standards
Requirements:
• Master’s or Graduate degree in Human Services preferred
• Current membership with a recognized College
• Valid Driver's License is required
• Knowledge of child and adolescent development
• Robust communication and problem-solving skills
