Servers will be required to work in multiple venues based on business levels, including 1888 Chophouse and Grapes.

Availability Requirement

To be scheduled, availability must include a minimum of 2 days per week with 8 hours per shift, contingent upon business levels permitting. Preference will be given to those that are available for the full season (July-October 15th).

Starting Rate

$17.22 per hour.

Responsibilities

- Complete daily operations (opening and closing duties, stocking, polishing, cleaning and maintaining walk‑ins, fridges and other areas as assigned by the Manager of Detail)
- Meet and greet guests and coordinate with other colleagues and the Manager of Detail regarding preferences, allergies and special occasions
- Have full knowledge of all food and beverage menu items, garnishes, contents and preparation methods
- Maintain quality and timeliness of service and practice effective upselling and suggestive selling techniques to drive outlet revenue




- Maintain accurate billing, cash handling and float procedures
- Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

- Must have Pro‑Serve Certification
- Minimum 2 years’ experience as a Server in a high‑volume and fast‑paced environment
- Previous point‑of‑sale system experience required
- Extensive wine, beer and cocktail knowledge is essential
- Must be able to carry and serve 3 plates at one time
- Schedule flexibility, including early mornings, late nights, weekends, holidays
