Inventory Control CoordinatorThe Inventory Control Coordinator is responsible for accurately receiving, organizing, and managing all parts and materials across the facility, ensuring inventory is properly stocked, tracked, and prepared to support maintenance and production needs.BenefitsCompetitive salary - $50,000-$57,000 based on experienceHealth Insurance (includes Virtual Health, and HCSA), Dental Insurance, Vision InsuranceLife Insurance, Long-term Disability, Short-term DisabilityRRSP MatchPaid VacationFloating DaysEmployee Assistance ProgramEmployee Engagement EventsAwards and RecognitionTuition reimbursementService AwardsEmployee Perks & DiscountsJob ResponsibilitiesReceive, inspect, and sort incoming parts and materials; operate a forklift to unload and move items as requiredStock items in an orderly, accessible manner in the Parts Room and satellite storage areas; maintain proper labeling and location accuracyProcess incoming requisitions and issue or distribute parts and supplies to internal usersPrepare and stage parts for upcoming PM Day work ordersMaintain accurate records of orders, quantities, part types, cycle counts and storage locations using the CMMS system and other tracking toolsPrepare and submit orders to replenish stock items and suppliesMaintain appropriate Min/Max levels and unique identification for all spare parts, materials, supplies, and toolsPrepare and package items for shipping out to vendors for repair when neededAdvise planners, production personnel, and internal users on the appropriateness of requested parts, supplies,
or materialsParticipate in Continuous Improvement activitiesMaintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse and personal work areaWork with the supervisor to optimize parts organization and storage systemsQualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent required1+ years of experience in a similar roleForklift License is an assetProficient computer skills with the ability to update and maintain computer inventory recordsAbility to read and prepare packing slips and labelsGood communication and interpersonal skillsMust be able to traverse the storeroom quickly and efficientlyPhysically able to maintain storeroom inventory and cleanlinessRequires sitting at a computer 50% - 70% of shift; requires walking through the plant to deliver parts on a routine basisMust be able to walk, see, stand, bend, and navigate stairs and ladders as needed, lift up to 50 pounds as neededDetail-oriented with good analytical skills, and be able to work independently when neededNote: This is a Safety Sensitive positionDiversity and Equal Prospect EmploymentIKO Industries Ltd. is an equal opportunity employer.
