We are currently requesting resumes for the following position: Business AnalystsResume Due Date: Thursday, May 22nd, 2025 (5:00PM EST)Job ID: 25-090Number of Vacancies: 1Level: MP4Duration: 12 MonthsHours of work: 35 Hours per weekLocation: 889 Brock Road, PickeringWork Mode: Hybrid – 2 days remoteJob OverviewParticipate in all phases of the project life-cycle: Initiation, Planning, Definition, Execution, and Closeout.Contribute to the implementation of systems, ranging from single applications to complex systems with extensive integrations.Support all stages of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), including requirements definition, solution architecture, development, integration, testing, and quality assurance.Foster relationships between business units and IT by interacting with business leaders and understanding business needs and priorities.Participate in technology and business risk analysis to identify implications, root causes, and solutions.Support the development of business cases for funding release through project gates.Apply industry best practices to ensure continuous improvement and add value to the business.Develop project schedules and assist with project deliverables.Coordinate and manage testing activities, including developing test plans, test cases, and managing defect tracking.Create, maintain, and update technical documentation for business processes and systems, including user manuals and guides.Assist with IT requisition requests and liaise with IT departments for timely processing.Track and report on requisition status to stakeholders.Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.Facilitate meetings and workshops to drive project outcomes.QualificationsBachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Business Administration or related fieldBusiness Analysis certification is preferred (e.G. CBAP,
CCBA)Agile certification is preferred (e.G. CSM, CPO)5+ years’ experience as a Business Analyst in a complex enterpriseExperience working as a Business Analyst or Product Owner for various IT project methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, Hybrid)Excellent problem-solving skills with ability to provide solutions and guidance to the project team and line of businessProficient in documentation and validation of business requirements from stakeholdersThorough understanding of the entire SDLC and with experience working on complex IT projects from inception to completion (i.E.
