Our mission is to make every league night the best night of the week for our athletes.Type: Full-Time | PermanentLocation: Toronto, ONSalary: $70,000 - $110,000 CAD annuallyReports to: Director of OperationsRole OverviewThe District Manager owns the operational performance, consistency, and health of a defined group of Brodie League locations. This role is accountable for ensuring game days run to standard, location leaders are supported and coached, and operational issues are resolved quickly and professionally across the district. The District Manager serves as the primary link between the Director of Operations and on-the-ground General Managers and League Managers. This is a field leadership role focused on execution, coaching, and reliability, ensuring Brodie standards are upheld consistently without central intervention.Core ResponsibilitiesDistrict Execution & League HealthEnsure every location in the district consistently meets the Brodie Standard.Monitor weekly execution across all locations, including game flow, staffing readiness, stats accuracy, content delivery, and player experienceIdentify execution gaps early and intervene before they escape into recurring issuesEnsure league nights feel qualified, predictable, and well-run across the districtWhat success looks like: League nights run smoothly with minimal escalations and consistent quality across all locations.General Manager & League Manager CoachingDevelop strong,



confident location leaders who can run their leagues independently.Act as the first point of support for General Managers and League ManagersCoach leaders through challenges rather than solving everything for themReinforce expectations, standards, and decision-making judgment consistentlyWhat success looks like: GMs and LMs execute confidently, escalated appropriately, and improve over time.Standards Compliance & System AdoptionEnsure Brodie systems, playbooks, and workflows are actually used in the field.Hold GMs and LMs accountable to required checklists, SOPs, and operating systemsIdentify where systems are breaking down or being bypassedEscalate systemic issues and contribute field feedback to improve processesWhat success looks like: High compliance with Brodie systems and fewer execution issues caused by process drift.Issue Resolution & Escalation ManagementResolve operational issues quickly and prevent them from repeating.Triage and resolve issues escalated from locations with urgency and clarityCoordinate with Content Ops, Stats, Logistics, or Finance when neededEnsure root causes are addressed, not just symptomsWhat success looks like: Issues are handled cleanly, escalations decrease over time, and problems rarely repeat.Operations Automation & EfficiencyReduce manual work and increase the efficiency of district-level operations through smarter systems.Partner with League Managers and on-site operations staff to identify high-friction, manual operational workflowsPartner with Tech to implement automations that reduce human error, speed up execution,



and free staff timeEnsure new tools and automations are adopted, documented, and actively used across district locationsWhat success looks like: League Managers spend less time on manual admin work and more time delivering a great league experience.RequirementsStrong people leader with experience coaching managers to operate independently and make sound decisionsDemonstrated success driving adoption of standardized systems, processes, and operating rhythmsProven ability to oversee and maintain consistent operational execution across multiple locations or teamsEffective problem solver who can triage escalations, resolve issues quickly, and address root causesOperationally minded with an interest in improving efficiency through better workflows, tools, or automationHighly organized, accountable, and detail-oriented with a focus on delivering a consistently high-quality league experienceAbility to travel between locations and work evenings/weekends during key periods5 days in office at our Toronto HQ – Brodie has thrived due to a culture of collaboration and teamwork in officeCompensation DisclosureThe expected annual compensation range for this role is between $70,000 and $110,000 CAD. Compensation is based on skills, experience, qualifications, internal equity, and business needs.
