The Ontario First Nations Technical Services Corporation (OFNTSC) is looking for a motivated intern to shadow experienced professionals in infrastructure services. Your role will involve assisting with inspections and documentation while observing housing program protocols. The internship is designed to help you gain practical knowledge leading to Ontario Building Code certification as a future building inspector.

Key Responsibilities:
• Assist in conducting inspections for community housing programs
• Prepare detailed and accurate inspection reports




• Support housing plan reviews under guidance
• Engage in technical support for periodic inspections
• Research current construction methodologies and technologies

Requirements:
• Diploma in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related area
• Familiarity with building codes is an asset
• Experience or understanding of First Nations cultures
• Robust teamwork abilities and attention to detail
• Valid Class G Ontario driver’s license needed
