The homesite for this position will be Groves Memorial Community Hospital.The Respiratory Therapist makes decisions and accepts responsibility for all aspects of Respiratory patient care in accordance with Departmental, Hospital(s) and Legislative Standards that govern the profession. The Respiratory Therapist is primarily responsible in a clinical role for the assessment, treatment, education and management of patients in both outpatient and inpatient settings. This position has the additional responsibility for the management of day-to-day service operations, staff support, as well as other delegated educational and administrative activities. Keeps current in skilled skills and knowledge through education.QUALIFICATIONS(Education, Experience, Skills and Attributes):Degree in Respiratory Therapy from Approved SchoolCurrent Certificate of Competence with CRTOCurrent BCLS and NRP essential.



PALS and ACLS preferredCertified Respiratory Educator certification preferredExcellent working knowledge and experience with all aspects of core competencies within Respiratory Therapist roleGood working knowledge of related hospital processes, procedures and policies (i.E.
