You will be a technical expert for Software Development in Test and work alongside team members focused on software verification of image processing algorithms, pattern recognition and integration with platform software.The Opportunity:Develop automated testing suite & framework for Roche Digital Pathology algorithmsCollaborate with cross functional leads to align on work scope & release timelinesWork closely with imaging scientists, subject matter experts to understand the algorithms and perform necessary data analysis for confirming the technical performance specifications and scientific accuracy. Also, troubleshoot failures and report any issues identified.Develop reusable and scalable data analysis tools libraries used for component as well as end-to-end verification.Participate in requirements, architecture,



and design specification reviewsAssist in executing dry run and formal verification testingFollow defined software development lifecycle procedures and best practicesWho you are:Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Biomedical engineering or related field or equivalent work experience5+ years of professional experience with Python or equivalent scripting language5+ years of hands on experience in software development in test, test automation frameworks, CI/CD tools, cloud and container management technologiesExperienced in Agile software development process and software engineering best practicesExperienced in recruiting, building & coaching high-performing engineering teamsExcellent verbal & written communication skillsPreferred:2+ years of experience in algorithm test engineering and analyzing histopathology imagesExperience in Performance testingExperience in medical device software or regulated software verificationRelocations perks are not available for this posting.The expected salary range for this position based on the primary location of Mississauga is 100,072.00 and 131,344.50 of hiring range.
