Located in Burnaby, British Columbia, this position is ideal for experienced engineers with 5–8 years in mechanical structures. You will engage in the design and engineering of large machinery, using your knowledge of structural design codes and mechanical properties to ensure effective solutions. Collaborating with diverse teams will be key to your success.
Key Responsibilities:
• Engineer structural components for large-scale machinery • Transform engineering concepts into detailed production-ready designs • Conduct structural analyses using FEA and simulations • Generate manufacturing drawings and design documentation • Provide mentorship and guidance to junior engineering staff
Requirements: • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Structural Engineering • Background in machine design and structural elements • P.Eng. eligibility in British Columbia • Experience with Creo and FEA methods • Ability to work independently and collaboratively
