From audit and tax to consulting and specialist advisory services, we help clients navigate complexity and seize opportunity with clarity.Your roleOur team at Baker Tilly Canada Capital ("BTCC") is looking for an Associate or Senior Associate, Mergers & Acquisitions to play a key role on our growing national Transaction Services ("TS") and Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) teams. As part of the new role, you will assist clients throughout the transaction process including:Developing an understanding of a client's business, including its revenue and expense driversPerforming financial analysis, reviewing adjusting entries, identifying normalizations, gathering and organizing information, and articulating key points to clients and potential acquirersPreparing transaction marketing documents, including confidential information memorandums to investors and presentations to clientsUndertake bringing clients to market, coordination of data rooms, and analysis of letters of intent and share purchase agreementsConducting financial and industry due diligenceAssisting in the preparation of quality of earnings reports for buy-side investorsDeveloping pitch presentations on actionable M&A opportunities with prospective clients inside and outside the Baker Tilly network of 50+ offices across CanadaWhat You BringUndergraduate degree in Business, Finance, Accounting or another similar programAssociate: 2–4 years of work experience in a related field (e.G., Accounting, audit, tax, financial analysis,
