The Room Attendant is responsible for maintaining a high level of cleanliness in guest rooms and common areas in a timely and thorough manner to ensure guest satisfaction. Day shift only. 8:00am starts daily.
Key Responsibilities
- Arrive on time, ready to work and wearing the proper uniform.
- Maintain uniform and grooming standards of cleanliness/tidiness and follow all safety procedures.
- Perform tasks as directed by Executive Housekeeper and/or Assistant Housekeepers daily.
- Have the ability to meet physical demands including; bending, pulling, lifting and stairs.
- Be responsible for working all scheduled shifts.
- Clean all guest rooms to the Executive Hotel standards.
- Possess good communication skills and work well both independently or as a team.
Education Qualifications and Experience
- Ability to push and/or pull equipment and carry supplies
- Available to work weekends,
holidays and be flexible to the work schedule
- Ability to scrub and scour surfaces, extending arms overhead to perform cleaning tasks
- Be able to carry guest supplies up and down stairs
- High level of enthusiasm and a team player
- Sound practical judgment in decision making
