In this Governance Consultant position, you will ensure effective operation of Vancity’s Regulatory Compliance function. By maintaining governance records and coordinating governance activities, you will help facilitate accurate reporting and oversight. Your robust stakeholder management and coordination skills will support both the internal teams and compliance stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
• Produce governance documentation and reports for meetings
• Manage committee processes, action items, and follow-ups
• Track regulatory compliance issues and deadlines
• Prepare materials for governance forums with validated inputs
• Identify prospects to improve governance practices
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Governance, Compliance, or related discipline
• At least 5 years of governance or compliance experience
• Experience supporting management forums and regulatory activities
• Excellent documentation and reporting skills
• Knowledge of compliance frameworks is advantageous
