As a North American operation of a global leader, we help build homes, highways, hospitals, and more across Canada and the U.S. Our culture is built on partnership and prospect for growth.WHAT IS THE OPPORTUNITY?Responsible for actively promoting and maintaining a safe working environment by conducting inspections, investigating incidents, developing training, ensuring compliance, and advising management on risk mitigation. Travel to terminal locations throughout Canada and the U.S. is required.WHAT WILL YOU DO?Safety Inspections and AuditsConduct regular inspections and audits to identify hazards and non‑compliance.Support the health and safety management system.Incident InvestigationInvestigate all workplace incidents, determine root causes, and implement corrective actions.Safety Training and EducationDevelop and deliver training programs on hazard recognition, PPE, emergency procedures, and more.Facilitate specialized training such as LOTOTO, confined space, arc flash, working at heights, CPR/First Aid/AED.Policy Development and ImplementationAssist in creating, updating, and enforcing safety policies and procedures.Risk Assessment and MitigationPerform risk assessments and develop strategies to reduce workplace hazards.Incident Reporting and AnalysisMaintain accurate incident records and analyze data for trends.Communication and AwarenessPromote a safety culture through meetings, posters, and other channels.Compliance ManagementEnsure compliance with OSHA, OHSA, CNESST, Department of Labour, WorkSafeNB, CSA, ANSI,



and corporate standards.Collaboration with Management and StakeholdersWork closely with management to address safety concerns and provide recommendations.Safety Culture FocusedLead a positive safety culture where everyone is committed to safety.CompetenciesKnowledge of safety regulationsOSHA, OHSA, CNESST, Department of Labour, WorkSafeNB, CSA, ANSI, and company standards.Analytical skillsIdentify safety issues, analyze root causes, and develop action plans.Process ManagementCreate and organize processes, track metrics, and optimize resources.Problem SolvingInvestigate issues using judgment consistent with standards and regulations.Planning & OrganizationPrioritize work, plan resources, and complete projects accurately and on time.Communication skillsClear, concise professional communication with employees, management, and agencies.Training and presentation skillsDeliver presentations and safety training to front‑line employees and management.Observation skillsAttention to detail for hazard identification during inspections.Leadership skillsCoach employees and influence positive safety behavior.Administrative skillsProficient with Microsoft Office, eCompliance, Avetta, Power BI, and advanced Excel.WHAT DO YOU NEED TO SUCCEED?Bachelor's degree (BSc or BEng) or equivalent education and experience.Minimum 5 years of relevant experience,
