The Division of Hematology at the University of Ottawa and The Ottawa Hospital is seeking two hematologists. This full time academic faculty role involves training, research opportunities, and participation in clinical programs such as Apheresis and Hemostasis. Candidates will be integrated into a thriving team with access to significant support resources and a strong mentorship framework.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead clinical care and education in benign hematology
• Participate in training and supervision of medical trainees
• Engage in quality improvement and research initiatives
• Share clinical responsibilities through the divisional on-call rotation
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team for patient care
Requirements:
• MD degree with Hematology certification eligibility
• Licensure in Ontario with CMPA membership
• Academic rank eligibility at Assistant Professor level
• Solid interest in clinical research or quality improvement
• Bilingual candidates preferred for enhanced patient care
