The RPN will:Participate in public speaking in various venues and community partnershipsEnsure clinical and office areas, resources, materials,
processes and equipment are maintained in communication and collaboration with other team membersProvide clinical assessments addressing the physical and emotional needs of clientsContribute to chart documentation, participate in chart reviews, case conferences and progress reports to referring/non-referring Physicians or primary health care providersPerform other duties that support the mission and vision of the organization and/or as assigned based on position responsibilities and/or site requirements.SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE REQUIREDMinimum of 3-5 years of nursing experience in a community health setting or combination of community and hospital or public health settingsDemonstrated ability to be flexible and possess robust organizational skillsStrong attention to patient and family-centered care and establishing therapeutic relationships is requiredStrong communication and excellent interpersonal skills, combined with good analytical, problem solving, organizational and administrative skillsClean driver's abstract, current, valid Class "G" Driver's License and reliable transportation to support travel across Windsor-Essex County as requiredProficient in the use of computers and various software applications is requiredBilingual (English/French) language skills an assetEDUCATION, TRAINING AND CERTIFICATE REQUIREMENTSDiploma in Practical Nursing from a recognized College or School of NursingMember of the Registered Practical Nurses Association of Ontario (RPANO) preferredCurrent Basic Rescuer (C) Certificate recognized by the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Ontario requiredCompletion of a Police Clearance and Vulnerable Sector Check prior to commencing employment#J-18808-Ljbffr
