This permanent, full time role focuses on supervising up to 12 staff members while collaborating with community partners to ensure effective youth programming. You'll implement dynamic strategies tailored to meet the unique needs of young offenders, contributing to their transition to community living. Your expertise will be vital in maintaining accreditation and fostering a supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Supervise and develop a staff team of caregivers
• Ensure mentorship and support for youth in custody
• Collaborate with local organizations for program success
• Conduct performance reviews and staff training sessions
• Uphold standards in documentation and case management
Requirements:
• Post-secondary degree in Human Services
• Proven experience with youth in a care context
• Valid Class 5 driver’s license necessary
• Police Record Check including VSC required
• Commitment to ongoing professional development
