What is the Opportunity?RBC Wealth Management Canada is looking for a Business Application Specialist (BAS) to join the Training & Development department. The ideal candidate will play a key role in providing one-on-one and team training to RBC Dominion Securities branch teams. In helping them perform at their best, you will be essential in delivering application-based training, sharing best practices and consistently supporting them with the tools and resources needed to increase efficiency and identify opportunities. Alongside a diverse, nation-wide team, you will have the opportunity to build trust and rapport with branch teams across RBC Wealth Management Canada via training sessions, to help position Training & Development as a reliable partner to the field.What will you do?Deliver personalized technology training and coaching in-person and virtually to an assigned portfolio of branches for account administration, portfolio management, trading, client relationship management, wealth management, and business development.Conduct effective discovery to understand Advisor/Management team’s needs, challenges and workflows, and adoption gaps where technology can improve efficiency and client outcomes.Handle questions, objections, and challenges through effective problem-solving and application expertise, reinforcing best practices and correct system usage.Proactively offer tailored training recommendations based on available training & adoption data and specific areas of branch focus aligned to branch priorities and business goals.Encourage adoption of recent tools and processes, supporting the firm in realizing long-term value and a strong return on technology investments.Deliver monthly thought-leadership branch presentations both in-person and virtually,
