Promotion of Medigas products and services to referral sources, including educational in‑services to medical/healthcare communities is an integral part of the job.What you will enjoy doingIn this role, you’d be supporting clients directly in their homes by setting up and monitoring respiratory therapy—this includes doing assessments, providing education, completing documentation, and following up to make sure everything is working well and they’re comfortable with the equipment.You’d also be responsible for delivering and exchanging equipment in clients’ homes, so there is some physical work involved, including lifting equipment (up to about 60 lbs at times).Some of the home visits can involve longer distance travel, so you’d need to be comfortable being on the road throughout your workday.When you’re not in the field, you’ll also spend time in the office meeting with sleep and oxygen clients for consultations and support.Part of the role involves leading equipment training sessions for community partners, so you’ll be educating others on how to properly use and manage the equipment.There’s also a sales and relationship‑building component—you’d be promoting products and services and maintaining strong connections with referral sources and clients.We really emphasize safety and teamwork, so following safety protocols and occasionally helping train and support new team members is an key piece of the role.Lastly, you would be part of an on‑call rotation,



so there’s some shared responsibility with the team to provide support outside of regular hours when needed.What makes you greatFor this role, we’re looking for someone who is either a Registered Respiratory Therapist, a Registered Nurse, or a Registered Practical Nurse with current, active registration.Ideally, you’ll bring at least a couple of years of related experience—homecare or any sales exposure would definitely be considered a strong asset.A big part of the role is interacting with clients, so strong communication skills and a genuine focus on customer service are really important.You’ll need to be comfortable managing multiple priorities at once, as the role can be quite fast‑paced with competing demands throughout the day.Attention to detail is key here, along with being results‑driven and able to follow through on tasks effectively.There are times when things can get busy, so being able to stay calm under pressure and having a strong sense of urgency will really help you succeed.We put a strong emphasis on safety and professionalism—you’ll need to be committed to both client and personal safety, maintain strict confidentiality, and have a clean driving record.Lastly, there is a requirement to be fully vaccinated against COVID‑19 as part of working in this role.Why you will love working with usAt Medigas, the healthcare division of Linde Canada, Inc., you’ll join talented and diverse people throughout Canada, all working hard to make a difference in our client’s lives and make our organization successful.
