About the Opportunity
HCLTech is looking for a highly motivated Senior Power Platform & Azure Automation Engineer to join a large-scale enterprise transformation initiative. This role is ideal for an experienced professional who thrives on designing cutting-edge automation solutions, optimizing business processes, and leveraging Microsoft technologies to create scalable and impactful outcomes.
You will play a key role in developing enterprise-grade applications, workflow automation, cloud infrastructure solutions, and operational excellence initiatives using the Microsoft Power Platform and Azure ecosystem.
What You'll Do
- Design, develop, and maintain automation solutions using Power Apps, Power Automate, Dataverse, and SharePoint Online.
- Build complex workflow automations and integrations across Microsoft and third-party platforms.
- Develop modern Power Apps applications with advanced user experiences and multi-screen functionality.
- Create and optimize Kusto (KQL) queries for reporting, monitoring, analytics, and troubleshooting.
- Develop robust PowerShell automation solutions for Azure and Microsoft technologies.
- Build intuitive dashboards and business applications integrated with SharePoint and Dataverse.
- Collaborate with UX/UI teams and translate Figma designs into functional business applications.
- Automate operational processes, incident management, and workflow solutions, including Microsoft ICM integrations.
- Implement and support Azure Cloud Adoption Framework (CAF) solutions.
- Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps.
- Develop Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions using ARM templates and Azure-native technologies.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical challenges while ensuring scalability, reliability, and performance.
Required Skills & Experience
- 7+ years of experience in Automation Engineering, Cloud Engineering, or Microsoft Platform Development.
- Strong hands-on expertise with:
- Power Apps
- Power Automate
- Dataverse
- SharePoint Online
- PowerShell
- Azure Cloud Services
- Advanced experience writing and optimizing Kusto Query Language (KQL) queries.
- Proven experience building enterprise automation and workflow solutions.
- Strong knowledge of Azure DevOps and CI/CD best practices.
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (ARM Templates).
- Experience working with Figma or similar UI/UX design tools.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving capabilities.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fully remote environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting large enterprise Microsoft environments.
- Azure Certifications such as:
- AZ-104
- AZ-305
- AZ-400
- Experience with Azure Cloud Adoption Framework (CAF).
- Experience supporting enterprise ticketing, incident management, and operational platforms.
- Background in cloud governance, monitoring, and automation at scale.
