Behind the scenes, pricing and inventory decisions play a critical role in ensuring we move people and goods efficiently while maximizing the value of every voyage.We’re looking for a Pricing Analyst to join our Revenue Management team; someone who is curious,analytical, and excited to take ownership of pricing and inventory decisions that directly impact millions of dollars in revenue. In this role, you won’t just analyze data; you’ll actively shape pricing strategies, manage demand across sailings, and influence how we optimize capacity across our network.If you’re energized by solving complex problems, experimenting with ideas, and seeing your work translate into real business results, this could be your next great opportunity.The RoleReporting to the Manager, Revenue Management, you will take ownership of a portfolio of routes and play a key role in optimizing pricing and inventory decisions across the network.You’ll Contribute By:Managing pricing and inventory decisions at the sailing level to optimize revenue and customer experienceDeveloping and executing pricing and inventory strategies aligned with seasonal demand, booking patterns, and business objectivesAnalyzing demand trends and customer behavior across vehicle and passenger segments to inform forecasts and pricing actionsMonitoring performance and KPIs, providing insights and recommendations to improve revenue outcomesPartnering with teams across the organization (Fleet Deployment, Scheduling, Marketing, BI, Operations) to align on demand, capacity,



and strategyBuilding and maintaining reports and dashboards to support decision-making and communicate performance to leadershipExecuting and validating pricing changes across systems to ensure accuracy and alignment with approved strategiesContributing to forecasting and revenue management processes, including testing, experimentation, and continuous improvementIdentifying opportunities to improve processes, tools, and analytics to enhance overall pricing effectivenessYou’ll operate with a high degree of ownership and autonomy, balancing daily tactical decisions with longer-term strategy and performance tracking.What You Bring To The TeamA bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Finance, Computer Science, Analytics, or a related field1–3 years of experience in an analytical or data-focused roleStrong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate data into insights and actionsExperience working with Excel and data analysis tools; familiarity with Power BI, Tableau, or similar visualization platforms is an assetExposure to forecasting, pricing, or revenue management concepts is an advantageAbility to manage multiple priorities and make decisions in a fast-paced, operational environmentStrong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams and present insights clearlyCuriosity and a willingness to experiment, learn, and improve processesWhy Join Us?At BC Ferries, your work has real, visible impact.
