Become a part time Truck Driver with the National Diabetes Trust and play a vital role in our donations collection service. Drive established routes while engaging with the community and supporting charitable efforts.
This role, reporting to the Operations Manager, entails driving a 3-ton truck to pick up clothing donations from residential locations and donation bins. Your work will assist in fundraising for vital diabetes programs while promoting environmental sustainability across Canada by diverting donations from landfills.
Key Responsibilities:
• Drive established routes for regular donation pickups
• Conduct vehicle inspections and report issues
• Accurately complete required paperwork and logs




• Communicate updates with dispatch during shifts
• Properly unload collected merchandise according to guidelines
Requirements:
• Full G licence required with at least 5 driving years
• Good driving record – clean abstract preferred
• Ability to lift 10-50 lbs safely
• Excellent map reading and route optimization skills
• Strong customer service focus and communication skills
