We welcome candidates seeking a Full‑Time or Part‑Time position to apply and we are open to considering an applicant's availability for work in meeting the needs of the board.Rate Of Pay$88,014 - $93,592 (10 month salary)Reason For VacancyExisting vacanciesJob OverviewReporting directly to the Board Lead Psychologist, the Speech‑Language Pathologist performs related duties by consulting with school staff, parents, and outside agencies about students with communication difficulties.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop, recommend, support and provide some direct programming to meet the needs of students with communication delay or disorder. Monitor student progress to determine on‑going appropriateness of speech/language interventions.Provide assessment, discuss results and findings and provide recommendations in a written report to support programming and intervention.Make recommendations to principals regarding school level approaches and practices for speech and language needs.QualificationsMinimum post‑secondary education completion of a Master in Speech Language, or equivalent and registration with the College of Audiologists and Speech Language Pathologists of Ontario (CASLPO) in good standing.Minimum of six (6)
