The Electrician works collaboratively with the team to support the execution of the integrated plan and schedule.Safely install, maintain, troubleshoot,



and repair electrical power and control systems across mining and milling operationsMaintain, repair, test, and install motors, VFDs, electrical panels, breakers, and control systemsMaintain and test switchgear, transformers, and Motor Control Centers (MCCs)Read and interpret drawings, schematics, blueprints, and applicable electrical codes and standardsInstall and repair electrical components such as cables, conduits, cable trays, and related systemsTest electrical and electronic equipment for continuity, voltage, current, and resistancePerform preventive maintenance and accurately document work using the maintenance management systemDiagnose issues, anticipate potential failures, and recommend effective solutionsJob QualificationsKey Skills & KnowledgeMinimum high school diploma or equivalentOntario Provincial or Inter‑Provincial Electrical License is preferred.Apprentices may be considered in accordance with business and legislative requirements.Relevant ExperienceA minimum of 4 years of related work experience.Previous experience in open pit mining or mineral processing (specifically gold processing)
